Communicore…We’re the steak AND the sizzle.

Welcome to February! The year is officially in full swing and there’s lots going on.

Here’s what’s been keeping us busy:

*We recently produced some HD green screen footage Doner’s interactive department. The footage will be used to create a very humorous website for their client, Cox Communications. Doner secured some incredible local talent to shoot some fun, quirky online segments – think “men in tights!”  We provided the camera package, hired the full crew, secured the studio AND got the whole thing done in less than 11 hours, saving the client a ton of overtime. (Of course, the Doner crew kept things rolling along to help make that possible! Thanks, John and Paul!)

Here are a few other projects we’ve got on our schedule:

•    Creating some corner-frame bugs featuring doctors for use on television to promote the Detroit Medical Center

•    Shooting and editing a (WHAT IS THIS?) for Regis Communications for the Voodoo Chop Shop and Cope Chewing  Tobacco

•    Editing a strategic planning program for the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services (ACCESS)

•    Shooting 7 days of doctor interviews for Henry Ford Health Systems

•    Shooting and editing a documentary about the Women’s Historical Center for GMayTV, to air on Public Television

•    Shooting and editing some Chicago Auto Show press reveals and other coverage for our friends at Ford Motor Company

Don’t let this list fool you, though – we still have plenty of time on our schedule to get YOU in. What can we do to help you? We’d love to work with you to deliver a fantastic program on time and under budget.

And here’s what’s new!

*Melissa McCrosky has now moved into project management and scheduling.  She’s great at keeping track of all those little nitty-gritty details associated with both. Is your shoot getting rescheduled for the umpteenth time? Do you need to split your project among multiple invoices?  No problem – Melissa’s got it handled. And always with a smile!

*In other personnel news, Candice Lazar is now doing sales and marketing full-time.  So if you call and she doesn’t answer, it’s because she’s spreading our new demo reels, and fortune cookies, all over town!  Candice is also creating our new Facebook page. We’ll let you know when it’s ready; we’d love to have you as a fan. (WHAT?  YOU’RE NOT ON FACEBOOK?!?!)

*Speaking of the internet…our new web site is ready. Yessiree, pinch me, it’s true, you’re not dreaming. Check it out right now at

We’d love to hear what you think.

Please call if we can do anything for you. Or, just to say hello.
